Urban Development Zoning Plan for UP1, Lagoa, Algarve – Review

10 years after the publication of the original PU of the UP1 – Ferragudo, Corgos, Bela Vista, Parchal, Mexilhoeira da Carregação, Pateiro e Calvário, at Lagoa, Algarve (published in 1999), the review of the PU has started, in order to adapt it to the guidelines of the Regional Plan of 2007 (PROT Algarve). The urban areas make up a single Planning Unit (UP1), as defined in the Municipal General Plan (PDM) of Lagoa.

The review process aims at the structuring, consolidation, and improvement of the existing urban areas as to their several functions and land uses, through the updating and reorganization of the original planning options, namely its land classification, as well as the restructuring of the main infrastructures networks.

Approved and published in the Official Paper (Diário da República) by the: Aviso nº 14160/2013, on the 19th of  November.
