The construction of a new high-speed train line between Lisbon and Oporto, which will link to the European high-speed network, has strong consequences on the urban structure of the country, especially along the coast, between Lisbon and Oporto, and on their Metropolitan Areas.
The study estimates the demographic changes, as well as the changes on the economy of the country and the regions served by the new line, as part of the market study.
