Housing Local Strategy of Alcoutim
The Housing sector had big changes in the last years. The approval of the Housing National Strategy (2015) and the Housing Act (2019) made housing as a key right.
Shortage of housing and the listing of housing in poor condition was key to start solving the housing problems. Namely in a territory, as Alcoutim, with ageing and population decrease, which out social and territorial cohesion at risk.
The 1º Direito is a programme inside the New Generation of Housing Policies, which diagnoses the issues list before, and proposes action and funding to solve it.
