Housing Municipal Charter of Amadora

The Housing sector had big changes in the last years. The approval of the Housing National Strategy (2015) and the Housing Act (2019) made housing as a key right.

Currently Housing Municipal Charter is developed parallel to the General Municipal Plans.

Shortage of housing and the listing of housing in poor condition was key to start solving the housing problems. Namely in a territory, as Amadora, with several challenges happening.
